Therapy for Self-Esteem and Identity

You have been second guessing and overthinking almost every decision you make. You spend countless hours trying to weigh out everyone else’s needs before deciding on a course of action. If you can make the perfect decision that best accommodates everyone else, then they will love and accept you. You trade your own needs, wants, and goals for the hope that someone else will fulfill you.

After years of doing just that, you still struggle to feel “good enough.” Now when you look around at your life, it’s like you barely even recognize it. You slowly tucked away all the parts of you that were rejected, invalidated, and dismissed. The parts of you deemed “too much” by others. This life you ended up living doesn’t really look or feel like you at all. Maybe you’ve been disconnected from yourself for so long that you are at a loss for what you even want it to look like.

I’m here to help you learn how to reconnect with yourself. Being able to give yourself the love, value, and attention you’ve been outsourcing to everyone else will help you reclaim control of your life. This will enable you to find more confidence and clarity in your decision making. When you show up as the authentic version of you, this also allows your community to find you instead of having to change yourself in order to “fit in.”

As a licensed professional counselor, I use a variety of techniques to best support you in meeting your goals. Together we will explore your needs, help you identify your values, and set healthy boundaries that enable you to show up for yourself.
