Joanna Jackson, LPC, sitting in a yellow chair, listening intently to you.

Hi, I’m Joanna Jackson, LPC.

I love the moment in therapy when I’m sitting across from someone and everything just clicks into place. That beautiful lightbulb moment when you realize how all the pieces of you fit together. When you start understanding how to work with yourself instead of against yourself.

Before starting my journey to become a therapist, a lot of what I achieved in my life was built on the motto of “fake it ‘till you make it.” And it really worked. Until it didn’t. There came a point where all the hats I was wearing and responsibilities I was shouldering were just too much. I crashed. Hard. Honestly, it was a painful experience. However, it forced me to re-evaluate what I thought was working and realize it was just me “white-knuckling” my way through reaching my goals instead of actually learning how to support myself. Learning that required vulnerability and a willingness to dismantle piece by piece all the walls I built up around myself and the image I worked so hard to craft. The image of “having it all together.”

I help my clients confront the hard truths and hold themselves with empathy and compassion. There will still be hard seasons of life and hurdles to overcome, so let’s help you face them as the healthiest, most whole, and aligned version of you. I’m here to support you every step of the way in creating a life that is intentional and fulfilling.

Here to Support You
